Restoration Project Fundraising Campaign in Canada
The Vukovar water tower, one of the most famous symbols of Vukovar and the suffering of this heroic city and the Croatian War of Independence,Β was largely destroyed after being hit more than 600 times during the siege of Vukovar.
The water tower is under major development to be restored as a memorial to recall the pain and suffering that Vukovar endured.
Please join us in contributing to the restoration of this importantΒ and historical memorial – the tower that refused to be torn down.
The Chamber is spearheading a fundraising campaign in Canada and has kick started the campaign by donating $5,000 to the Project.
Donations will be accepted until December 1, 2016!
