Symposium Cafe Restaurant and Lounge (Mississauga, September 29, 2016) -The Canadian-Croatian Chamber of Commerce welcomed a full house in honour of UFC Heavyweight Champion Stipe Miocic.
Fans from as far away as Windsor, Ontario were treated to a private interview with Stipe. They had the opportunity to learn about his journey from his first round knockout of Arlovski in Las Vegas, when Stipe shocked the world and started yelling at UFC President Dana White, “I want my shot! Give me the shot!”, to defending his title most recently in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio on September 10, 2016.
Ivan Grbesic, a director of the Chamber, then opened to floor to questions from the guests which Stipe was happy to answer in true champion style. The evening continued with photo sessions, autograph sessions and time spent chatting with Stipe.
Stipe and the guests were then surprised by a special private performance by T.S.
Mejasi, visiting from Croatia, who performed at two packed venues of their own (Hamilton and Norval) over the course of the weekend.
