The Canadian-Croatian Chamber of Commerce is pleased to inform you that Tanya Granic Allen, a member of our Croatian-Canadian community, announced plans to run for the leadership of the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario.
Tanya has been the President of Parents as First Educators (PAFE) since February 2016, a group dedicated to lobbying for parents rights against Ontario’s “sex education” curriculum and is in favor of more parental control over education. She is a writer, commentator, and public speaker, primarily focusing on issues affecting women, youth and the family. Tanya is a mother of four young children and resides in Toronto with her husband.
While the Canadian-Croatian Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit (and non-political) network of Croatian-Canadian businesses, professionals and community organizations that does not endorse any political parties, we are pleased to acknowledge and support the endeavours of Canadians of Croatian descent. As such, in addition to wishing Tanya a successful leadership race, we wish to inform members of our community of her efforts and that she is seeking support in gaining the support of at least 100 party members to sign her nomination papers and in identifying donors to help her raise the $100,000 entry fee to enter the race.
Please note that donations at this stage of the process are not tax-deductible.
