“Bitka za Vukovar – Kako smo branili grad i Hrvatsku”
(Battle of Vukovar – How we defended our city and Croatia)
Presented by Damir Plavšić and Damir Markuš (veterans of the Homeland War that defended Vukovar), this production has been touring around the world over the last two years, and we are pleased to assist in presenting it in Canada, with presentations in Mississauga, Windsor, Calgary and Vancouver.

Through video, live narration, and songs, the production will present to our community the struggle of Croatians in Vukovar and Croatia during the Homeland War and also educate, in particular, our Croatian youth about this tragic episode in our Croatian history.
The Mayor of Vukovar, Ivan Penava, will also join us for this special event to thank our community for its support over the years, to provide an update on the progress of the water tower restoration project and to share his insights relating to present day Vukovar.

Tickets include general admission to the presentation of the production, a sit-down lunch (prepared by Hrvatski Fond Slavonija), and a cash bar.
Only full purchases of a table of 10 tickets will be reserved seating.
