The position is a senior administrative support- level position for the consular and Foreign Policy and Diplomacy Service programs at mission.
Provides coordination and administrative support services to the consular and/or passport program and/or citizenship in a mission. This includes document analysis and processing, collection and/or verification of information primarily for the purposes of passport/citizenship processing, consular case administration and reporting, following and tracking passport and consular cases, collection of fees and reconciling daily receipts and coordinating day-to-day processing of passport applications and consular case updates.
Provides coordination and senior administrative support services to the FPDS program in the mission, including the coordination of clerical and administrative processes and functions such as making travel and accommodation arrangements, scheduling meetings and appointments, document processing for Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) program, assisting with pre-visit arrangements and hospitality events, assisting with preparing and monitoring social media content, as well as drafting and updating visit programs, conducting research, collection and/or verification of information for a range of subjects, files and cases related to the FPDS program.
