Rapid Gear is a Machine Shop specializing in power transmission, specifically custom gears and gearboxes. Servicing heavy industries such as mining, press mfg, cranes, etc. Rapid Gear has operated as a family business since 1976, currently employing 60 people, mostly engineers, skilled machinists and millwrights. They can produce almost any type of gear from 2″ diameter to 200″. Currently located in Southern Ontario servicing Canada, US and International.
