Since I was young, Iโve been involved in the Croatian community at the Church of Croatian Martyrs in Mississauga, dancing kolo with Sljeme and Jadran Toronto as well as playing youth soccer with Mississauga Croatia. Beyond that, Iโve played tambura for many years with Vatroslav Lisinski in Mississauga, and I also play with Jadran in Toronto. As with much of our youth in the GTA, I attended Croatian School in my youth in Mississauga and then went on to complete the three high school courses in Croatian language with exceptional results.
Now, I attend Trinity College at the University of Toronto and am seeking a double major in International Relations and Public Policy.
I am also a journalist with my own news company which I created several months ago, Politicorp, as well as with an annual publication at UofT which publishes student reports on European affairs, and I am slated to write a report on Croatia for this yearโs publication.
Lastly, I am also editor with Crodiaspora, a budding diaspora organization started by my first tambura instructor, Mate Pavkoviฤ.
