Following its international showcase at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, where it was featured as part of the prestigious Marché du Film, DIVA has captivated audiences.

This moving historical drama tells the story of a young woman whose unwavering courage and faith defied an empire. Set against breathtaking landscapes, DIVA captures the strength of one woman’s spirit – a spirit that continues to inspire generations long after her time.

Meet DIVA filmmaker Branko Perić and actress Diva Marija Perković (daughter of our very own Croatian-Canadian, Sandra Perković) following the Film Screening – hear firsthand what inspired this powerful story.
