Vladimir Bubrin is a graduate of the University of Toronto where he received his PH.D degree in the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures. He has written articles and reviews that have appeared in many community papers.
Dr. Bubrin has taught Croatian in Toronto’s Croatian schools at the elementary and secondary levels. In addition to his long and varied career in public service working for the Ontario Ombudsman, the Ontario Ministry of Citizenship and Culture, and the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada he is active as a translator of Croatian poetry and literature. He currently sits as a Justice of the Peace, Ontario Court of Justice.
