An e-mail a few years ago, a number of discussions, a string of correspondence and lots of persistence ever since…et voilà – Air Canada recognized the potential of a direct route between Toronto and Zagreb. Air Canada Rouge will be flying four times a week in each direction between Canada and Croatia.
Our Chamber Board member, Ivan Grbešić, was honoured to attend the AC New Routes Event held this evening in Toronto and was acknowledged by Carolyn Hadrovic, Corporate Secretary of Air Canada, for his contribution in getting the ball rolling a few years ago. We look forward to the inaugural flight to Zagreb on June 2 and are pleased to see both Air Canada Rouge and Air Transat offering easier and more convenient access to Croatia for tourists, business people and members of our community in Canada and the U.S.
