The first Diaspora Friendship Games will be held in Split and on the island of Brač from July 16–20, 2026, with the grand opening on July 16 at 7:30 PM at the Meštrović Gallery.
The Croatian diaspora community hopes to make the Games an annual event, rotating to different regions of Croatia each year to ensure long-term development, national reach, and equal participation across the country. In 2027, the Games are planned for Osijek and Slavonia.
