With 30,000 fans in attendance Toronto FC hosted the 3rd Annual Croatian Heritage Night at BMO Field!
Nearly 500 Croatian-Canadian fans cheered Toronto FC as they beat Montreal Impact in a must win, Eastern Conference game 3-1.
While our Croatian-Canadian youth rehearsed to take part in the pre-game ceremony., the MLSE organized a pre-game celebration, where the chanting and singing from this summerβs World Cup carried over into the party with favourite Croatian hits.
On the field, it was with great pride the children wore their Croatian soccer jerseys while holding the Canadian flag and singing βO Canadaβ – honouring both great nations while others participated as player escorts.
