Hrvatski Bozic (Croatian Christmas 2019)

Our Croatian community in Kitchener played host to this year’s “Croatian Christmas”, an annual tradition intended to bring together members of the Croatian community in Southern Ontario in anticipation of Christmas. A heartwarming performance of Christmas songs by Kraljica Jelena Folklore (led by Ante Milardović) and the local church choir, lunch and a special visit by St. Nicholas marked this first day of Advent, which was co-organized by the Croatian Consulate General (Mississauga), the Canadian-Croatian Chamber of Commerce, and the Holy Family Croatian Roman Catholic Parish.

It was a great turnout of locals and special guests from near and far given the winter storm that was hovering outside. Congrats to all those who contributed to making the event a great success and for bringing joy and some Christmas spirit into our community.
