On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Canada and Croatia, Mr. Bob Bratina (M.P. and Chair of the Canada-Croatia Parliamentary Friendship Group) and Her Excellency Marica Zorica MatkoviΔ (Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia) hosted a reception on Parliament Hill in Ottawa to celebrate the occasion. Representatives of the Canadian-Croatian Chamber of Commerce (Directors Joe Draganjac and Ivan Grbesic as well as Manager Wanita Kelava) were on hand for the event and were among other invited guests, which included Members of Parliament, diplomatic officials and members of (and representatives of organizations from within) the Croatian community in Canada.
The Canadian-Croatian Chamber of Commerce is proud of the relationship and cooperation between Canada and Croatia, which are allies in NATO and partners in CETA, and undertakes to continue to find ways (and to work with members of the Croatian-Canadian community and its counterpart in Croatia, the Canadian Croatian Business Network) to connect the two countries more closely.
