VUKOVAR WATER TOWER:
SYMBOL OF CROATIAN UNITY
The Vukovar water tower, one of the most famous symbols of Vukovar and the suffering of this heroic city and the Croatian War of Independence, was largely destroyed after being hit more than 600 times during the siege of Vukovar.
The water tower is under major development to be restored as a memorial to recall the pain and suffering that Vukovar endured.
Please join us in contributing to the restoration of this important and historical memorial – the tower that refused to be torn down.
The Chamber is spearheading a fundraising campaign in Canada along with Sounds of Croatia (CHIN – 1540AM).
