With 30,000 fans in attendance at BMO Field, over 800 Croatian-Canadian fans took part in the 5th Annual Croatian Heritage Night with Toronto FC on September 30, 2022, cheering on TFC as they played Inter Miami. Although TFC played a solid game, Inter Miami scored a late goal in the 86th minute, leading them to a 1-0 victory.
While our Croatian-Canadian youth prepared to take part in the pre-game ceremony, DJ Tommy Skara entertained those gathered with a great party experience, playing a variety of Croatian songs!
It was with pride that children escorted the players onto the field and toured the stadium prior to the game for an experience they won’t soon forget.
