Dear Members of the Croatian Community in Canada,
I’m delighted to announce that the Community Folk Art Council of Toronto has extended an invitation to the entire Croatian community to participate in celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the Confederation of Canada.
The City of Toronto is hosting a number of celebratory events including a Canada Day Parade on July 1, 2017 that will feature the City’s numerous ethnic groups that form the GTA’s multicultural mosaic to participate in this prestigious event.
We at the Consulate have formed a working committee to organize the Croatian community’s participation and are inviting all community cultural, religious, social and sports organizations to participate in this event. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity to demonstrate the strength and unity of our community while proudly presenting Croatia’s culture, traditions and the contributions of its people to Canada and the world. These events will be covered by print, television and radio media outlets.
To ensure the success of this event, I invite everyone in our community, individuals, businesses and associations and organizations within our community to enlist in any one of the numerous opportunities to participate. Your participation and support is essential and can take many forms from financial assistance needed to help fund our floats and materials donations to volunteering your time and walking in the parade.
Kindly confirm your participation by completing the registration form below and return by email to the Office of the Consulate (email@example.com) by April 30, 2017.
We look forward to your participation and the opportunity to showcase the strength of the Croatian community in the GTA.
