Business Valuation Analyst – Located in Burlington Ontario
Keystone Business Advisors Inc. is a growing boutique financial advisory firm located in Burlington. The firm offers services in Valuations, Advisory and lower mid-market M&A.
The Valuations group provides professional business valuation services for tax and estate planning, family law matters, shareholder disputes, mergers and acquisitions, litigation, etc.
This is an opportunity to learn about business valuation and corporate finance at the ground level and to work with and learn from a senior business valuation professional. You will work on a variety of exciting and challenging client files.
This is a one-year contract position which may transition to a permanent role.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The candidate would assist in a wide variety of business valuation assignments and would work directly under our senior business valuator to provide valuation and related services including but not limited to:
- Preparation of valuation schedules
- Drafting of valuation reports
- Financial modeling and valuation analysis
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum: Undergraduate Commerce degree or MBA
- 2+ years of experience working in a finance or related role.
- Interest in business valuation and corporate finance matters
- Strong proficiency with Word and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational and time management skills for various projects and deadlines
- ‘Outside the box’ thinking with a strong business sense
