Sale of the property of Wood Processing Industry “Stjepan Sekulic” Ltd. in bankruptcy, Nova Gradiska
The property is located in Nova Gradiška in Brod-Posavina County, characterised by its exceptional geostrategic position at the crossroads of the Pan-European corridor which connects Western Europe with South-East Europe and Middle East, as well as Northern and Eastern European countries with the Adriatic Sea.
The industrial production was established in this factory more than 80 years ago. The Company had been producing and exporting furniture, veneer, sawn material and parquet floor till 2009, when it faced the business difficulties and had to cease its production.
The project includes the sale of assets (land, buildings, machinery and equipment) owned by the Wood Processing Industry “Stjepan Sekulić” Ltd. in bankruptcy at the 30th Public Auction that will be held on March 30, 2016 at 11:30, before the Commercial Court in Osijek, Permanent Attendance in Slavonski Brod, Trg pobjede 13, courthouse 73/ III.

Government of the Republic of Croatia has announced a public call to participate in international tendering for the implementation of the Kupari Tourism Development Project at the Kupari 1 site in the municipality of Župa Dubrovačka. Owned by the Republic of Croatia, the Project is situated on one of the most attractive locations in south Dalmatia (Kupari 1, covering land area of 14 hectares) and is intended for the development of a high-end tourism resort.
The Project scope is determined by Physical Plan of Župa Dubrovačka Municipality, and includes construction of new hotels with up to 1,500 accommodation units and 4-5 stars categorization. Five non-operating hotels are currently on the location. One of them, Hotel Grand, is foreseen for renovation, while the other four hotels: Kupari, Pelegrin, Goričina I i Goričina II are planned for demolition and construction of new facilities.
The joint agreement for a period of 99 years will include: the right to build and right to use on the land in the scope of the project, a lease agreement for the Grand Hotel and the concession right on the maritime domain.
The Public Call for the Implementation of the Kupari Tourism Development Project was announced on May 23, 2015. The deadline for submission of the bids is August 25, 2015.
