Business Excellence Awards Evening 2004

In what proved to be another successful evening, the Chamber hosted its 2nd Annual Business Excellence Awards Evening on April 23, 2004.

This year, guests were treated to a pre-dinner symphony concert by the I Medici Di McGill orchestra from Montreal. The orchestra was founded by Dr. Ante Padjen, one of this year's award recipients. The evening's keynote speaker was Ontario's Minister of Economic Development and Trade, the Honourable Joe Cordiano. In his speech, Minister Cordiano indicated his willingness to work with the Chamber in improving Canada's trade with Croatia and possibly visiting Croatia on a trade mission in the near future.

Other distinguished guests included several local Members of Parliament. The event was covered by Canadian and Croatian media.
