CHAMBER HOSTS DISTINGUISHED LECTURE SERIES

The Canadian-Croatian Chamber of Commerce hosted members and associates at its first Distinguished Lecture event on Tuesday, December 11 at The Boulevard Club in Toronto. The keynote speaker for the evening was Mr. Edward Dodig, CFA and Managing Director of Foreign Exchange at CIBC World Markets. Mr. Dodig's lecture was entitled "How Currency Impacts Your Business" and included discussion of currency markets, the Canadian dollar and managing currency risk.

Following the lecture, attendees enjoyed an exquisite reception and networked into the evening. "Given the unique situation of the Canadian dollar in recent weeks, we thought that that this would be a topic of interest for our members," said Chamber President John Marion. "In order to add value to membership, we will continue to host such events related to timely topics."
