From September 21st to the 24th 2017, the Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera Hotel in Dubrovnik, Croatia will be hosting a prestigious dance spectacle in Latin-American, Ballroom, Smooth, and Rhythm categories.
This project is intended to represent a cooperation on cultural and artistic fields, as well as tourism and business. The program includes dancers and other participants from 38 countries around the world, including competitors from Croatia!
At the moment, the following countries have confirmed their participation: Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, Bulgaria, Romania, Austria, Germany, Portugal, Belgium, France, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Norway, Poland, Malta, Greece, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Russia, Israel, Moldova, Denmark, Lithuania, Hungary, Ukraine, Hong Kong, China, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, United States, Canada, Malaysia, Philippines, United Arab Emirates and South Korea with world’s best adjudicator panel.
The dance competition will last for three days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and will contain WDC amateur league (World Dance Council: World art and dance organization), WDC Professional Division (best dance couples of the world) and PRO-AM division, which includes the most number of dancers. Each evening Gala events will be held with the aim of developing and improving cultural cooperation and friendship between the participating countries. During the morning hours dance seminars and lectures with world-renowned dance experts will be held.
As a result of this prestigious dance project being held in the City of Dubrovnik – one of the most beautiful cities in the world and the world-famous tourist destination, we expect more than 1,000 participants. Our aim is to increase the number of participants from year to year as we hope to turn this project into a traditional Dubrovnik dance event and make it recognizable around the world.
